ANGRIYA :- India’s first luxury cruise ship (Mumbai – Goa – Mumbai, via sea )

Hello friends , this post is about Angriya – Indian’s first domestic luxury cruise liner. 

I am going to tell my experience and all the necessary things like how to book Angriya cruise on online, Angriya luxurious room , restaurant , Bars , Disco And swimming pool.

After spending 3 days in Goa, it was time for another surprise to my dear wify on her Birth day. She has no idea that I booked a cruise for Goa to Mumbai. After check out from hotel  first I have to return the activa  which I  rent  from panjim.

After return the activa I booked a taxi ( no ola , uber in Goa ) for Mormugoa port  where the surprise wait.The cruise start at 4:00 pm  so I have to reach before 2 hour, because time taken to collecting the ticket  , check in  and transport to cruise .

We reached port at 2 pm . When she came out from texi  her expression was like where was the terminal number  or Platform number .She just look around her and show the people  who wear taking there bags and standing in a queue.

I stand in a queue for the ticket  which I book online. When I take my ticket the counter person ask for Angriya card .i have no idea what is that  , so I asking for 

detail information .Then the counter person tell that there is no network working in the sea and only breakfast and dinner included in booking . So extra activity like snacks in restaurant , drink , swimming pool u have to use that Angriya card. The minimum amount deposited for that card is 2000.So according to your uses you have to fill in that card, what ever you spend in cruise cut from the card rest of the amount refundable when you return the card in Mumbai port. I fill Rs.4000  in my card.

After taking my ticket we went for cruise . One thing  all you have to know that if you have water bottle so drink all water and disposed the bottle because water bottle are not allowed inside. My check in completed with in 15 min and they send us to a bus which was waiting outside to take us to cruise. We went to bus and sit.when the bus full with people, driver come and check all ticket and went towards the cruise.

The port gate open and bus enter  near to cruise.When we reach  to cruise ,the cruise door not open.so we wait for sometime and  take some photo from outside.

After sometime the door open and we entered to the cruise. When I enter the cruise I just sock , “is it a ship or 5 star hotel”. The interior was awesome .I gave my ticket to the checking person. He said – First you take your breakfast then we will

show you your room. We went to restaurant for some snacks. It’s a buffet restaurant. You get coffee, tea , French fries ,samosa, cake and juice. All is yours

What ever you want just take and enjoy the breakfast. 

After breakfast we went towards our room. My room was on  deck C . It was on the reception floor.

 

I was try to book a couple room with window but it was full. So if you want a couple room with window you have to daily  check the site  , because rooms are booked so fast. If you ask me, window room are not needed. Because live show  end 11 pm , which organize back side near swimming pool .then if you go to disco or bar and return to your room you have only 3 to 4  hour for sleep.so what  you see in midnight  middle of the sea.

I went to my room and take rest for sometime .My room was not so big, a queen size bed ,a cupboard  and little space for walking  with attached bathroom.i rest for  a while and then comes out with my camera to discover Angriya.

Now I am telling you about angriya cruise. How to book online Angriya cruise, about the Rooms, Restaurant,Bar,swimming pool and spa.

1. How to book Angriya ticket online

booking process completed in 6 step.

Step 1 :-  Enter your journey  whether you going Goa to Mumbai or Mumbai to Goa.  Then enter date  and the number of people. Then proceed.

Step 2: - Select your room

There are 4 type of room .

1.Rooms 2.Family Rooms 3.Luxury pods 4.Dorms

 There are 8 types of rooms.

     -     Couple Room (Double Bed & Large Windows) – 7650

     -     Buddy Room (With Large Windows) – 6800

     -     Couple Room (Double Bed & Port Holes) – 6800

     -     Couple Room (Double Bed & Without Window) -6250

     -     Buddy Room (Separate Beds Without Window) – 5300

     -     Family Room (Double Bed, Kid's Bunk, Large Window) – 7200

     -     Family Room (Double Bed, Kid's Bunk, Without Window) – 6250

     -     Couple Room (Spacious Seating, Double Bed & Port Holes) – 7650

    Family rooms : -

1   -     Family Room (With Windows & Common Toilet) – 5700

Luxury pods : -

     -     Luxury Pods Double Occupancy – 4650

     -     Luxury Pods Single Occupancy – 4650

    Dorms : -

     -     Dorms – 4300 ( 66 no seat   with common washroom )
   
       Price may change according to season.

According to your convenient you choose your room. Add you room and conform then go to step 3.

Step 3 : -  Book your room

Fill the personal details care fully . Here  Rs.2000  add  for adult meal and 1000 for kids meal.

Step 4 :- Passenger detail

Where you fill you Gender , Date of birth , ID proof , Type of meal ,Nationality  and contact number.

Step 5 : - Payment mode

Step 6 : - Conformation of ticket .

2. About Angriya cruise :

                                   Check out the following timings for outlets.

 

For swimming pool you have to pay 500. It made at the end of the ship and this the best part of the sea. There is a large open area in front of the swimming pool, where live shows are going on evening. 

On that day a local band from Mumbai perform . The band sang some beautiful mashup and they have there own song .  SO we just ordered some snacks and enjoy the evening. They perform 2 hour then take a small break around 8:30 pm.

At that time we went for dinner , dinner time was 8 to 11 pm. There wear both veg and non-veg , what ever you want  take and eat.

 

After dinner we came back and sit  swimming pool  stair and enjoy the music. The show end at 11 pm , then we go to disco for checking how many people dancing , there were 8-9 people and some kids are dancing. We sit for sometime then went for sleep.

I wake up and check it was 6 am .i just went to outside for a walk. When I comes out side it was lighting surrounding the cruise. A city was show far , so many ships wear near our ship. I just take a walk from starting to end . it was 6:30 am and the sun start rising slowly. The moment was awesome when you see sunrise in the middle of the see .All most all the people were came out  and enjoy the sunrise.

 

It was 7 am , time for breakfast . Because check out time was 9 am. So we went to our room and pack our bags and went for breakfast. After breakfast last time we go went for a walk and take some picture.

 

At 9 am we were ready for check out . Two small boat were come near to the cruise, because the ship is not going to near port.It stay far from the port. people are send to port by boat . 

so we went to the boat and sit. After the boat full , boat was going towards port. After reaching port if you have balance in your Angriya card , you have to return the card in the counter and take your amount. 

This was my Experience on  Angriya Cruise. A memorable Goa trip.
